They can give you the best answer to “How Much Home?” can I afford it and provide you with mortgage options.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION…Your price range can dictate neighborhood choices. However, there are other important factors that determine where you should look for that new home. You should consider – desired commute time, school requirements, community amenities, available shopping and services, churches, and etc. Remember location, especially the quality of schools, factor into a home’s future resale value. Your Realtor is a great source of community information.
MAKING AN OFFER ON A HOMEYour opening offer should be based on the sales trends of similar homes in the neighborhood. So before making it, consider sales of similar homes in the last three months. This is something your Realtor can assist you in doing. They can also provide guidance on what upgrades and extras add value to a home.
THE PROCESS OF CONTRACT TO CLOSEYour next few weeks will be a busy time, I will work with you every step of the way. During your option period, a home inspection is done, and a formal loan application is made. After which, the title company works on the legal transfer, your lender orders an appraisal and underwrites the loan and you take care of insurance, utilities, and moving tasks, Once your loan is finalized and title work is complete, you will make a final walk-through, attend a formal closing and given the keys to your dream home.
